This course will provide Coaches with some elementary knowledge and skills to offer basic Padel coaching to their repertoire.

It aims to support individuals to activate (facilitate play) sessions in the sport of Padel and gain important basic knowledge and skills for delivering Padel. The course will focus on basics around padel as a sport, the role of walls, shot selection and court positioning and will also cover best practice for leading a session and feeding approaches.

The learning outcomes for this course are:  

• Understand shot selection and court positioning for Padel and how to teach them 
• Learn some basic ways of teaching players how to use the walls
• Understand and practice how coaching skills differ from tennis coaching to Padel coaching, including feeding 
• Learn and play some games to take back to your venue and use with your players
