This course will be delivered at Barnet & Southgate College, Southgate Campus on the following dates : 20th, 27th June, 4th, 11th July and a final date to be confirmed.

This qualification is designed to provide the knowledge, understanding and practical skills needed to work as a Gym Instructor in the sport and physical activity sector.

This qualification is endorsed by CIMSPA and learners successfully completing it will be able to join as a member of CIMSPA and be listed on its directory of qualified and recognised sport and physical activity professionals. This qualification is a pre-requisite for Level 3 Personal Training qualifications.

There are NO EXAMS, just continual assessment.

3. Supporting client health and well-being
4. Conducting client consultations and gym inductions
5. Planning and reviewing gym-based exercise programmes
6. Instructing and supervising gym-based exercise programmes
