WimX Learning are looking to work with freelance first aid instructors nationwide to deliver EFAW courses. Daily rates of pay will range from £175 – £250 and the work will be both weekdays and weekends. If interested please email info@wimx.org.uk with your CV and the geographical areas you can work in.
WimX Tennis require an intern to support the coaching staff and players in the field of strength and conditioning.
Remuneration: This is a non-paid position but it does includementorship towards your UKSCA accreditation along with the following free courses below.
Hours of work: This position will involve working up to 16 hours in two, three of four blocks per week but has the potential to lead to a paid position and any cover work will be paid by a day rate. Duties will include preparing and delivering tennis specific sessions to academy players and is an opportunity to work directly with elite performance players.
Length of Contract: Minimum contract time is 4 months and maximum is 10 months. We are currently recruiting for 4, 6 and 10 month positions starting in September 2020.
Responsibilities: Assist and lead group and individual S&C sessions to all academy athletes along with performance testing and screening. Collaborate with a team of support staff, players and parents to continually instil a high performance culture.
Applicants will preferably have a degree in sport and exercise science and qualifications within the field of fitness and performance. Applications from people working towards such qualifications will also be considered. UKSCA or working towards UKCSA is preferred. Applications from candidates looking for a sandwich year internship would be most welcome.
The intern will report directly to the Strength and Conditioning Manager and Academy Manager and will receive guidance and support from the S&C Manager concerning session content.
